Often referred to as double-width or room-high, extra wide fabrics are generally 200cm or more in width. They are ideal for maintaining design continuity, eliminating joins or seams and creating a seamless, professional finish. These fabrics are particularly suited to large-scale applications such as floor-to-ceiling curtains for large bi-fold windows or upholstery projects including sofas and headboards.

Railroading is common in extra wide fabrics. If a fabric must be railroaded to achieve the design, this means the pattern runs across the roll from selvage edge to selvage edge, rather than in the standard vertical direction up the roll, parallel to the selvage. Refer to the product details for each design to understand if it needs to be railroaded or contact our customer service team for more information.
