The Tibetan poppy, found on the high plateaus of the Himalayas in the small village of Manali, serves as the inspiration for this design. Stylised poppy flowers are bought to life through velvet applique on a cotton fabric. They are embroidered with a range of threads with different shine and matte finishes and a diversity of stitches to highlight the exquisite texture. Shown here in the Ocre Terracotta colourway.
