Checkmate sees Zinc’s relaxed, casual persona come out in the form of seemingly simple textured fabrics. Each design takes its name from popular games that may spark a little nostalgia. An eclectic mix, you’ll find super heavy weight, chunky cloths from chenille to relaxed linen.

There’s more than meets the eye under the glossy surface of Enzo; this glamorous wide-width satin is woven with a touch of metal which gives the fabric its unique relaxed, and somewhat crumpled appearance.

As aspirational as the collection’s namesake, the designs take their cue from prestigious London borough Holland Park. Dramatic designs adorn dramatic qualities; jacquards, embroideries and chenilles play host to a bold flame stitch, lavish veined marble, classic houndstooth, an impossibly soft velvet and more.

Elaborate embroideries, colourful tapestries, linens, chenilles and velvets, you name it, this collection has it. Crude patterns bring a beachy vibe with their beautifully bold, organic demeanour and rugged character, presented in an earthy colour palette that Zinc is known and loved for.

Buttery to the touch, the super soft nap of this retro inspired fabric is a thing of beauty. With the look and feel of a nubuck, Z Suede has all the appeal and style of a real suede but with the durability and practicality required for demanding environments.

Architecture and fabrics unite in this innovative collaboration between Zinc Textile and Antwerp based studio Dieter Vander Velpen Architects, whose noteworthy portfolio spans bespoke projects across the globe.
