Ruukku (Pot) rug is designed by ceramic and textile artist Marianne Huotar for Finarte. The patterns of the Ruukku rug are drawings of the shapes of the pots, outlines and cross-sections straight from the pages of a sketchbook. The pink-peige-brown-blue Ruukku is made from luxurious thick wool by hand-tufting, with convenient cotton backing. Soft wool is naturally dirt repellent and is thus suitable for many different interiors and conditions. The base of the rug is made of cotton, which makes the rug sturdy.
