The Väre (ripple) rug is part of the National Museum's Väre collection, designed by Marianne Huotari. Through organic brush strokes, the Väre (ripple) illustration takes thoughts to a national romantic forest, where one can see primitive patterns grooved on the surface of pots, memories channeling through the palms of working hands and ripples of life, Huotari tells. The soft fluffy surface of the rug invites you to spend time on the floor.
