Tigris is an exquisite ikat print on linen taken from an early 20th century silk Abra panel, Abra being the Persian word for ‘cloud like’. Originally woven on an ikat loom, these distinctive silks were created by Shah Murad who re-established the silk industry in Tajikistan in the 1770s. Seen here in the Blue colourway.
