Inspired by the mottled, peeling tree bark found along the streets of Shoreditch, Jurul translates natural urban organic forms into a luxurious textile. Intricately worked across the surface using a rich array of embroidery techniques and varied yarn weights, the design mimics the relief, shade, and raw texture of the tree bark. Multi-dimensional threads build physical depth across the surface, transforming an everyday urban sight into a tactile piece of textile. Shown here in the Ecru colourway.
