Roman Blind in Caledonian Fabric by Kirkby Design Product Ref: K5385/02
Blinds from £408 EACH
Collection:
An exemplar of enduring design, this classic tartan moquette was originally designed in 1938 by the visionary textile designer Marion Dorn. Known for her significant contributions to British modern interiors, Dorn was a leading figure in the Art Deco movement, frequently collaborating with prominent architects of the era. This specific pattern originally upholstered the seating on the Metropolitan line of the London Underground. Marion Dorn's innovative use of pattern and texture elevated utilitarian textiles to a form of public art, an influence that endures worldwide public transport design today. Shown here in the Ganache colourway.
