Floating Pavilion is design depicting a magnificent landscape that was originally printed as a Liberty furnishing fabric during the 1970s. Incorporating new stylistic elements, and recoloured in tonal and harmonious palettes, this design is inspired by traditional Chinoiserie wallpaper panels from the 17th and 18th centuries. Adapted by the Liberty Design Studio, intriguing islands with lush gardens of oversized lotus flowers, fantastic pavilions, floating sampans, and birds in flight unfold across this spectacular scenic. Printed on 100% linen. Presented here in the Lapis colourway.
