Coromandel is a fabric based closely on a French chintz of the 1820s, the elegant floral stripe features an evocative design of entwined date palms and garlands of roses. In a synthesis of Eastern and Western motifs, it echoes Indian chintz made of the Coromandel coast of India in the 18th century. This cotton chintz has a light glaze finish and is presented here in the Indigo colourway.
