An inscription in the margin of the original archive document reads, “Will something like this do / for the suggested staircase paper / a la vine tapestry? / H.D.” A charming glimpse into the creative dialogue of the time, and a reminder of the artist-to-artist connection this collection celebrates across the centuries. A unique two-tone dyed yarn brings subtle movement and depth to the design, offering a soft, matte finish.
