Inspired by an antique textile, the Chester fabric showcases a floral Batik pattern on a background of textured linen. The Batik technique, prominent in Indonesia in the 19th and 20th centuries, uses wax on an undyed cloth to create intricate patterns. The cloth is dyed, and the intricate pattern remains when the wax is removed. Shown here in the Beige colourway.
